Technoparade “Train of Love” moves through Berlin
Under the motto “Basses connect”, the techno parade “Train of Love” moves through the center of Berlin. The participants want to set an example for tolerance, diversity and solidarity.
Fewer participants than expected marched through the center of Berlin at the start of the “Train of Love” techno parade. In the afternoon, the police initially spoke of around 7,500 people, but 20,000 had registered. Numerous music floats paraded with loud bass and electronic music from Mauerpark in Prenzlauer Berg to Oranienstraße in Kreuzberg.
This year, the organizers wanted to “set a strong example of tolerance, diversity and solidarity,” as they announced online. Slogans such as “Refugees still welcome,” “Techno creates education,” and “Love wins” were displayed on the floats and banners. According to the police, the “Train of Love” has so far run without any particular disruptions.
