Travis Kelce happily confirmed that Taylor Swift has indeed come up with some plays for the Chiefs.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been together for over a year, and during that time, the 14-time Grammy winner has transitioned from not being a football fan to actually drawing up proposed plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Now, she just needs to persuade Andy Reid to use one of those plays.
Last week, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes mentioned that Swift had come up with plays, indicating her growing interest in the game. It might have been a joke or an exaggeration, so when Kelce appeared on Rich Eisen’s show on Tuesday, Eisen took the opportunity to ask for more details.
So @patrickmahomes let this one drop the other day so we asked @tkelce about it — is @taylorswift13 actually drawing up plays for the @chiefs??

Following Kelce’s revelation about his cameo in the Eras Tour, he confirmed that Swift has indeed applied her creative talents to designing football plays. Kelce remarked:
“She has just been so open to learning the game. She didn’t know much about the rules and everything. But I think what makes her so good in her profession is that she’s so detailed in every aspect of it. From the words to the music to even the releases and music videos and everything, she’s so detailed and a part of it. I think she was just curious about the profession. I know that none of the plays have gotten to Coach Reid yet, but if they ever do, I’ll make sure to let everyone know it was her creation.”
He continued:
“She’s a little biased. She’s a little biased and just creates plays for me. So we’ll see if they can make it to Coach Reid’s office.”
But if Kelce can make an on-stage appearance at the Eras Tour, who’s to say Swift can’t come up with a play for the two-time defending Super Bowl champions? Anything is possible.
