Dwayne Bravo Announces Retirement from T20 Cricket

West Indies cricket legend Dwayne Bravo has announced his retirement from franchise Twenty20 (T20) cricket. The 40-year-old made this announcement on Saturday through an Instagram post. He revealed that the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 will be his last professional tournament.
Bravo, known for his all-round abilities, has had an illustrious career in T20 cricket. He had already retired from the Indian Premier League (IPL) before the 2023 season. During his IPL career, he was a key player for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), helping the team win four titles.

Bravo retired from international cricket after the 2021 T20 World Cup, which was held in the United Arab Emirates. He has since focused on playing in various franchise leagues around the world.
In CPL 2024, Bravo will be representing Trinbago Knight Riders. The team is set to begin its campaign on Sunday against St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
Throughout his T20 career, Bravo has been a dominant force with both bat and ball. He is the leading wicket-taker in all T20s, with an impressive 630 wickets in 578 matches. He has also contributed significantly with the bat, scoring 6,970 runs.
